Cinnamon mandazi step by step
- In a bowl mix flour,sugar, salt, cinnamon and baking powder.
- Make a well in the center then add 1 cup of the milk and water mixture.
- Mix the ingredients till the dough start to form.Add the remaining mixture gradually while kneading.
- Place your dough in a flat surface and knead for about 15 mins till the dough becomes soft and starchy.
- Make a round shape ball with the dough,oil in the outer part then place the dough in a bowl and cover with cling film and let it sit for 30 mins.
- Divide your dough into 4 pieces.
- Flour the surface and role your piece of dough to make a flat dough similar to that of chapati.
- Cut into desired shape I.e circles, rectangles.
- Put them in the hot oil and fry till brown on both side.
- Repeat till you are done.
- Serve and enjoy.
