- It's 1 cup of tuvar dal.
- It's 2 of tomatoes chopped.

- It's 2-3 of kokum ke phul.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of jaggery chopped.
- It's to taste of Salt.

Gujarati Dal step by step
- Soak tuvar dal for 2-3 hours in water.
- Wash it and put it in the cooker..
- Keep the cooker on flame. Add about 2 cups of 2water..
- Add chopped chillies, Adrak and chopped tomatoes..
- Close the lid of the cooker till 3-4 whistles.Off the flame..
- Cool the cooker and open the lid..
- Blend the dal and again keep the cooker on flame..
- Add little water as per the dal consistency. Not too thick or not too watery..
- Add salt and kokum ke phul.Also add jaggery..
- Boil it for 10 -15 minutes..
- Now in a small vagareya add 1 tsp Oil..
- Add rai, curry leaves and dry red chillies.when it shutters add it to the dal..
- Gujarati Dal is ready to serve..
- Sprinkle chopped Coriander and serve Piping hot with Rice..
