Home-made granola (toasted muesli) step by step
- Chop the nuts.
- Put all the dry ingredients into a large bowl.
- Heat the oil and honey over a low heat, and when they are nicely blended, pour over the dry granola ingredients. Stir while heating and don't allow to get hot enough to bubble.
- Mix very well with a spoon or with your hands.
- Lightly grease your oven tray and fill with the granola. Smooth over with your hands so there are no gaps.
- Put in the oven for 35 minutes at 150º. Each ten minutes, carefully take the tray out and stir around a bit..
- After half an hour it should be ready to take out of the oven and left for 10 minutes or so in the tray to cool.
- Put the granola into a bowl, add the dried fruit of your choice and stir well.
- Store in an airtight jar and enjoy :-).
